Congratulations to our Pre Novice team - undefeated 3 time GOLD medalists!
Well there was alot of gold clinking around our skaters' necks as we made the trek home from Sectionals in Wainwright this past weekend. Our Beginner II, Pre Novice, Intermediate and Adult III teams took home GOLD medals while our adult team had a great skate and brought home the bronze. While this concludes the season for the Beginner II and Pre Novice teams our Intermediate & Adult teams are now looking forward to competing at Nationals. We'd like to thank the coaches, team managers and executive members for making this season a great one! Best of luck to our teams as they gear up for Nationals! |

We are looking to expand our coaching staff... could you be what we are looking for? |
|
The Edmonton Northern Lites Synchronized Skating Club is seeking to increase our existing coaching staff for the 2010-2011 season and is accepting applications for the positions of Synchronized Skating Coach and Assistant Coach. NLSSC is recognized throughout Canada for its excellence and outstanding achievements in synchronized skating. We are a well-established, fast growing club, currently home to Beginner II, Juvenile, Pre-Novice, Intermediate, Adult I and Adult III teams.
We require someone who is enthusiastic and energetic and has the ability to interact well with skaters, coaches and parents. Our coaches are responsible for on and off-ice instruction at practices, competitions, ice-shows, etc., as well as choreography. The skating season runs from September to April. Our coaches also provide instruction at our Summer Camp during July and August.
Applicants for the Coach position must be NCCP Level 2 certified (or higher) in skating; previous experience in synchronized skating and choreography would be a definite asset. Applicants for the Assistant Coach position should have experience in synchronized skating.
NLSSC, Box 36, Station Main, Edmonton AB, T5J 2G9
Check out our website at northernlites.ca
A review of applications will continue until a successful candidate is identified. Contract, salary and responsibilities will be negotiated based on qualifications
