  FAQ

How do I pay for the programs?

Contact us for pricing and payment options. Bingos are available to work and count as credit towards fees.

What should my child wear for class?

There is a strict dress code for all Synchro teams - black leggings that are tight at the ankle. No mesh inserts, no colors or designs.

Black shirts/jackets. Hair needs to be tied back at all times. Gloves are preferred over mittens as it's easier to hold on to teammates.

Club jackets are assigned at registration and may be worn during practices.

For Canskate, helmets are mandatory and must NOT be bike helmets. Please do not wear elbow/knee pads as these restrict movement.

Remember to bring mittens and wear light socks inside skates.

What are your season dates?

Our programs start in September and end late March.

Are your teachers qualified?

Our coaches are NCCP certified/trained and insured by Skate Canada.

Can we still join your classes after the term has started?

Yes! Please contact us for more information.

Can parents watch?

Yes! We encourage parents to watch in the stands, not in the penalty boxes. Bring a blanket as the rinks are cold!

What is your ratio of children to coaches?

For Canskate, there are 10 skaters or less per coach. Program Assistants are available for more assistance with skaters as well.

For synchro teams, there is an assistant for each of the youth teams in addition to the coach.
